HI, I recently took a few days to research in Bucks Co. but almost everything points me back to Northampton Co. I have been looking for Michael Dech, my gr-gr-gr grand father and his parents. Michael married Anna Catherine Sassamann. I now believe Michaels's parents were Anthony (Antoni) Dech and Catherine Gress. Anthony died about 1791 leaving 4 sons. Catherine's father, Michael Gress petitioned the orphans court to get guardians for them. Jacob Dech became guardian for Michael. Could Jacob have been Anthony's Brother? There must be some relationship. As I live in Missouri, it would be difficult for me to visit PA again any time soon. If any one can help I would greatly appreciate it.
