Carol, I have been researching land records in Williams Township and have run across a Jacob Dech (alternate spelling Teigh). A warrant to survey land was issued for him in 1748, and he received by patent 83 acres astride the border of Williams and Lower Saucon Townships in 1752. According to Northampton County deed F1-683, Jacob and his wife Elizabeth sold the land in 1758. This land was in Bucks County until 1752, when Northampton County was erected.
