I have a record from the Armstrong Historical Society that shows Rachel YOUNT married to Daniel BOUCH on 25 DEC 1804. Does anyone know where that wedding took place? I have some information that guides me to the Boyertown, Colebrookdale Twp, Berks Co. area. As it was a custom of some of those families to have weddings performed in their homes, it would be helpful if a home location could be found for any members of the area YOUNT or BOUCH families. I believe the YOUNT family had some connection to the Egypt Reformed Church and BOUCHES of later generations were most often of the Luthern denomination. Does anyone have knowledge of where I could find any church records from that time period? Finally, did marriages on that date have to be recorded in any public office and where might they be located?
