Hi, Can someone tell me where Jacob's Union Church, listed as Jacksonville, would be and if it's still in existence? I found a marriage record of David Bachman and Ellen Jane ___ in 1881. Would the church records be online by any chance? Thanks for any help. Sandy

Jacob's Union church is in Lynn Township, Berks county. It is still in existence. Their is a wonderful old cemetery there. I have temporarily the Private Records of Rev. Henry Fegley (1874-1906) which includes his records at Jacob's Church in Jacksonville. The followimg is included in the records: David Bachman of West Penn married Ellen Jane Kistler of Weisenberg on July 31, 1881. Ellen Jane's obituary is also in these records. She was born on Oct. 1, 1861 and died of heart disease on April 15, 1899 and was buried at Jacob's Church. Her parents were Jeremiah Kistler and his wife Fyanna Gaumer. David and Ellen had one son and 3 daughters living at the time of her death. Hope this helps.
