    3. Keim, John, subject, Northumberland County History, He was born Feb. 22, 1845 in Berks County (Shoemakersville, Perry township). Moved to Danville, Montour Co. He died Jan 3, 1878, he was a Lutheran. His wife was Harriet Arnold (sister of Dr. John Arnold, a dentist of Reading), was born July 13, 1813, died April 19, 1878. Children; Matilda, 1831, Catharine, 1832, Susan, 1834, Harriet, 1836 died in Chicago in 1910, Anna M., 1838, John, 1845, Sarah Jane, 1847, and William, 1851. John Keim married in 1862 to Christiana Bowers, who died in 1897. Children; William of Oklahoma, Catharine of Danville, Alice married Rev. M.B. Bird, of IL.., Emerson J., of Kans.. Mamie. In 1898 John married 2nd to Ida Morgan, d/o Charles Grier Morgan of Danville. Keims were members of the Methodist Church. Joseph Morgan, grandfather of Ida was born Aug 29, 1784, his father, Charles Morgan having come from Wales. Children of Charles, Charles, David, Peter, and Joseph. Joseph Morgan settled in the Irish Valley in Northumberland County, died in 1846 in his 63rd year. He is buried at Klinesgrove. His wife, Charity (Campbell) born Nov 19, 1790. Children, Emily 1812, Huldah, 1815, John C., 1818, Maria, 1819, Charity, 1824, Charles Grier, 1826. Charles Grier Morgan, died at Danville, Oct 12, 1866. He married Sarah Ann Maurer, d/o John Maurer, and she died at Danville, March 17, 1910. Children,, Elliott R., who married Margaret Bassett, d/o George of Danville, Sarah F., Ida M. (Mrs. Keim) and Seth W., who married Kate Johnson. d/o Stephen Johnson of Danville Sullenberger (Berks County History) I. Samuel Sr., came from Lancaster County, children; John Joseph, Abraham and Samuel, all of whom lived in Cumberland County. II. Samuel Jr. born Oct 17, 1803, in Cumberland County, moved to Berks Co., he married Sarah Miller, d/o John. He died Feb. 1860 in Maiden-Creek township. Interred in Shoemaiersville Union Church. Children; Mary who married Francis Reber, Sarah who married William Keim, Rebecca who married William Wolfe, of Shoemakersville, Henry M., William of Phila., Emma who married James Kerscher, of Reading. Keim, Northampton County Charles J., M.D., subject, a native of Northampton County. He was born in Bethlehem (now Lehigh) March 19, 1843 in the house his father, Leopold and grandfather, Valentine were also born. The mother of our subect, Mrs. Mary (Stahr), was born in Salisbury township, Lehigh Co., and died at age 60. Her father, Conrad Stahr, also a native of this county, was a soldier in the War of 1812. On Dec. 15, 1863, Dr. Keim married Eliza C. Seider, who was born in Coopersburg, she is the d/o Edward Seider of Allentown. Children; Edward L., and Harry J. Romich I. Adam, a miller II. Peter, was a native of Saucoon township. Came to Whitehall township at the age of 20 III. Peter, a native of Whitehall township IV. Owen, of North Whitehall, was born Sept. 3, 1819, he married May 19, 1840 to Polly Kern, d/o Joseph Kern. She was born near Egypt Church. Children; Henry K. and Frank W. Owen Romich died Oct. 3, 1894 and he was a member of the German Reformed Church. Romig Jacob and Mary Romig, parents to Edwin H. Romig,he was born Nov 26, 1843 at Northampton County. Edwin H. married in 1864 to Lydia N. Dorney, d/o John. Children; Augustus, Charles, Edwin J., and Mary Best Wishes, Geri
