    3. Hi, I've done a lot of Transue, and I think its archived on Monoe Co. If you can't find it, just get back to me. Soldier's son Abraham Transue signed p.o.a 15 Odt 1852 in Monroe Co as 1 of the soldier's sons of deceased Rev. soldier Philip Transue (other sons not named). >From Pam F. His father fled France before the Rev. The family located in Bucks Co. at an early day, three of the sons came to Monroe County, Elias, and John settled near Shawnee, Jacob near Stroudsburg. Anthony lived and died in Smithfield township; John died in Bradford County, Abram lived for some years in Monroe and then moved to Wyoming Co, where he died. Jacob, lived in Smithfield, Monroe Co, and ded in Sussex County, NJ. Lanor, was the wife of a Mr. Kiper, of NY State. Kate married Joseph Price and they moved to Ohio; Rachel was the wife of Jacob Yetter of Monroe County; Barbara married Barbara married Philip Snively, died in Pocono township; Susan married Michael Hardenstein, and died in Stroudsburg; Mary married William Fish, and died in Bradford county. Isaac Transue,father of Uriah (born July 24, 1832) died in 1879, his wife died in 1887. (more to follow). Best Wishes, Geri
