I. John Allshouse, grandfather, a native of Westmoreland Co. He married Margaret Klingensmith, among their children was a son Samuel. II Samuel, was born about 1808. Moved with his parents to Armstrong county, returned to Westmoreland. He was a Lutheran. He married Lydia Baughman, d./o Adam of North Huntingdon township, whose fathercame from Holland. They had 8 children; (seven survived) Eliza Jane, wife ofSolomon Hartman, Sarah, wife of Jonas Gongaware, of Harrison City, Albert S., of Kittanning, Lydia Ann, Josiah, Pricilla, wife of John Rumbaugh and Anna B. III John W., Allshouse, was born in Huntingdon township Oct 29, 1836. He married Oct 9, 1863 to Mary Jane Kemp, d/o Levi Kemp of Hempfield township. Children; Samuel H., married Arabela Altman, Lydia ., maried Leopald Werkman, Margaret I., married Samuel L. Thompson, John Marshal, married Sarah Smith, Laura A., Susie I. married Morris Bossart, James F., Luella Virginia married Oswell H. Hough, Grover C. and 1 who died in infancy. Best Wishes, Geri
