Would anyone have any information on the Schwenck or any other odd spelling of the name. I have a Frederick Schwenck that married Barbara Schwartz about 1767 in Northampton Co., Pa. They had a son Johann Philip Schwenck on 28 May 1771. He married Elizabeth ? about 1791 and had a son John Schwenck born 23 June 1793 in Northampton Co., Pa.. I could not find them after 1793 in Northampton Co., Pa. Now I have a Philip Swank who is in Greene Co., Pa. about 1796 with a wife Elizabeth ?. He was born in 1771 in Pa. They have a son John who was born 29 June 1793 in Pa. I suspect that they are the same family, but need more proof. Philiip and Elizabeth Swank are my GGG-Grandparents. No one in the Swank research family has any idea who Philip Swank parents are. Do anyone have any records on this family? Richard Swank in Calif.
