montgomery co. linn anna maria 26 dec 1740 peter and margretha-st paul's-upper hanover peter bp may 3 761 felix and jacobina-st. paul's lutheran-barren hill, whitemarsh twp. brunner john adam bp 22 feb 1756 felix and wf.-indian creek ref. ch-franconia twp. history of lehigh co. peter lynn or lin arrived sept 26, 1737, from hanau, germany, married anna margaret, d/o felix brunner and his wife anna barbara. he settled in what is now lower milford twp. member of the great swamp ref. ch., where he is buried. he died 1761 leaving a widow and 7 children; felix, anna maria, april 12, 1740, married april 18, 1758 to adam willauer, a carpenter of milford, bucks co, peter, margaret, married nicholas imbody of dist. twp., berks co., john, elizabeth married john roth of colebrookdale and theobald. after peter lynn's death, the widow married george schantzenbach, and had 2 children, george a blacksmith of upper saucon, and catharine married casper rumfield. felix brunner, having had only 2 daus., the children of anna margaret lynn, his eldest dau., became heirs to one half of his etate. on july 6, 1784 they sold their share to george neifer, for 600 pounds. dr. felix lynn, eldest son of peter, was born in lower milford, july 8, 1740. he studied medicine with some physcian and afterwards married the widow of his preceptor. he died jan 9, 1809. his first wife, jacobina, was born oct 30, 1730, died march 31, 1801. he married 2nd to elizabeth olewine. he had 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daus. dr. george felix lynn, born aug 3, 1762, practiced at emaus, margaret, marcy 2, 1764, catharine, 1766 married john green, peter, feb. 12, 1769, did sept. 30, 1844, and john, june 20, 1774, died jan. 16, 1791. peter lynn, 2nd son of peter sr., was born about 1745. he married april 4, 1768 catharine kooken, d/o john. he died in 1817, leaving 3 children, gertrude,w/o david straub, mary w/o simon shaefer and peter john lynn, 3rd son of peter sr., was born in 1754 and confirmed at great swamp in 1769. theobald lynn, youngest son of peter sr. was born oct 14, 1759. he was a saddler and he moved to district township, berks co. lehigh co. rumfe;d splomon 24 jan 1786 casper and catharina-st paul's-upper saucon fumfelt salome (t) 13 june 1789 casper and catharine, same ch northampton co. blue ch. schantzenbach, catharine, born 16 dec 1728, died 26 feb 1813 25 march 1788, estate of henry rumfeld, upper saucon twp. land; 200 acres deeded land bounde by john newcomer, jacob bachman, felix lynn, john stahll admins; john rumbeld and casper rumbeld children; margaret, catharine, john, jacob, henry, casper, george, philip, hannah, susannah Best Wishes, Geri -----Original Message----- From: PEGGIE SHAW Sent: Monday, December 4, 2006 4:03 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [PABERKS] Schautzenbach, Linn, Brunner et al Thank you everyone for your replies and info. Their children, Felix, Peter, Anna Mary b. Apr 1740, Ann Margaret, John, Elizabeth, Theobald all born in Berks Co bet 1737 and 1761. "The widow", (Ann Margaret) then married 2nd, George Schautzenbach and they had Catherine b. aft 1762 d. 1850 she married Casper Rumfeld and George Jr. b. aft 1762 no further info on him. I do not know how accurate the info from this above source is. I have been trying to find the parents of George or some other documentation for the parents of Catherine Schautzenbach and have been unable to find any. I am connected to this group through Catherine and Casper Rumfeld's son, Israel of Lehigh co. b. 1789 who married Elizabeth Weiss b. 1793.
