Actually, I am not a descendant of Daniel Wetzel, I actually descend from a Jacob Wetzel. I was having a terrible time tracing Jacobs roots, so did a DNA research on him, found out my Jacob and the Daniel are close relations. I may locate Daniels ancester that may be a brother to my Wetzel. DNA has t0 be done on males of the same surname, so I got a male cousin to donate the actual DNA. I am wondering if you have maybe done the same thing. We could then tell if they are related.
