    3. rev. war ettinger, jacob or jacob eatinger or eittenger, mary ann, W5269, pa. line, soldier applied 1 july 1818 portage co. ohio age 62 where he had lived since the summer of 1803. in 1820 soldier lived in ravenna, ohio and soldier had 3 sons at home then, towit; james, 14, samuel, 11, benjamin, 8. soldier married mary ann brougher on 2 april 1782 in "wisenburg township", "northumberland co", soldiier diied 2 jan 1832 in ravenna, ohio. in 1840 widow was age 78. widow died 3 dec 1843 at "revenno". in 1844 there were children of soldier and wf, gottlieb, 24 dec, 1784, george, james, samuel s. and benjamin ettinger and betsey, wf of william ward, mararet, wf of jacob stough, and susan, wf of george stough. in 1844 there were 2 children of soldier and wf who were deceased, towit; catharine, w/o william williams and john ettinger who was the oldest child and who was age 21 in the fall of 1818. in 1848 soldier's grandchildren the children of soldier's deceased son john were shown as; rach! el, who married joseph willyard, betsey w/o benjamin willyard, sarah, w/o james muphy mary, w/o frederick caris the 2nd, susan, w/o samuel beckwith, jacob and henry ettinger. no grandchildren was mentioned as children of deceased daughter catharine williams, soldier's youngest child was benjamin ettinger, in 1848 some of the children signed their name as eatinger. berks co. rahel ettinger, july 26, 1820, died feb. 17, 1842, age 21y 6m 17d frankling geiger of longswamp to amelia ettinger, of lehigh co., june 12, 1859 susanna eliza, dec. 31, 1848, d/o jacob and sara ettinger. sp. mary roth. phila, co. ettinger ann elizabeth 27 march 1769 john and hannah-st. joseph r.c. church lehigh co. ettinger gertrude 17 march 1787 gottlieb and elisabeth-ziegel ch. weissenberg twp monroe co. ettinger abraham 28 may 1818 henrich and eva catharina 18 aug 1812 same parents david 26 may 1818 same parents elisabeth 19 oct 1816 david and eva jacob 13 march 1818 same parents bucks co. ettinger, see eddinger sept 12, 1844 amos ettenger, middletown twp. widow lydia now carter and children sarah ann and benjamin franklin, under 14. david carter, guardian. children charles and isachar over 14. david carter, guardian aug 26, 1816 michael deterly-haycock twp. philip wemer and michael deterly exec. legatee magdalena stoneback disputes settlement. march 3, 1817 george edinger, over 14, son george, late of northampton co., deceased. john wort, guardian. feb. 13, 1833 dau. margaret, w/o john swartz.
