bucks co. history fisher, j.f. of quakertown, was born jan. 19, 1855 in rockhill twp., the eldest son and child of j.h. and sarah (ritter) fisher. at age 17 he went to cumberland co., he married in 1874 to bella, d/o william and anna (young) "hifflefinger" of cumberland co. in 1878 he returned to his native county. children; john s., harry h., sallie m., and elsie k.. the last named died aug 4, 1884. in july, 1886 he married ella d. d/o h.g. and belinda r. (miller) ahlum. moffitt, henry, of richland center, was born in donegal, ireland in 1822. 3 brothers of the name moved at an early day from scotland to ireland. the grandfather of subject came to america with a number of quarker and founded a colony in n.c. I am a descendant of Daniel Heffelfinger born in 1807 and was baptized at the Tulpehocken Trinity Church Jackson Twp. Lebanon County. He was the son of Martin. I am looking for information on this Martin, birthdate and his parents. I have seen a Martin born 1774 son of Martin and also a Martin born 1769 son of Johannes.
