haney, frank p. o allentown, was born in bucks co., dec. 13. 1862. member of christ's ref. church. he married margaret appel, d/o martin and nancy (rice) appel, of allentown,. children; catharine r. w/o herbert schmoyer, raymond, frederick, robert, mabel, eshter, hilda, arthur, nina, chester and nancy. james m. haney, father of frank p., was born june 17, 1817 in bucks co, he married catharine simms. d/o jacob and sally (ott) simms. children; jacob and george w. he married 2nd to catharine knauss, d/o charles and hannah (jordon) knauss, she was born dec. 2. 1830. mr. haney died march 27, 1886. children, mary e., james w. charles f. samuel, alphenus, frank p., and edwin a. jacoby, benjamin, 4th son of conrad and hannah (riegel) jacoby, born sept 9, 1786. benjamin jacob married 1st to margaret landsi (1788-1827), d/o samuel and susan (newcomer) landis. he married 2nd in 1829 to margaret werst, d/o peter werst, born april 1, 1785-died sept 26, 1844, his children were; samuel, peter landis, catharine (1812-1897), caroline, susanna, anna, benjamin, john, and levi jacoby. jacoby, leonard, the youngest son of conrad and hannah (riegel) jacob, was born in springfield twp., bucks co. he came to allentown in 1855. he married march 6, 1804 to elizabeth ott, d/o john and margaret ott, of bedminster twp. he died at allentown 28, oct. 1864. children; amos, elizabeth, thomas, sarah, died single, john of phila., and hannah. kline, marcus, born march 26, 1855, in salisbury twp., lehigh co. married oct 4, 1881 to clara keller, of allentown, children; edwin k, and altheas lucile w/o claude shanweiler shankweiler, wilson, died july 1886, an associte of mr. f. w. koch, while the latter was abroad on his wedding tour. kostenbader, john, s/o john and catharine (sever), was born aug. 7, 1804, died march 27, 180. he married sally ann, d/o jacob and sally anna (keller). children; thomas married mary brown, reuben married maria knecht, sally ann, w/o jeremiah bower, katie, w/o israel mill, matilda, w/o william knecht. joseph kostenbader, s/o john and catharine, married henrietta hahn. children; john, amthony, and a girl died in infancy john married katie knecht and they had miranda.
