I?m searching for the father of Ephraim Lockard, who was born in Northampton County in 1799. I wasn?t able to find anything searching online, so I decided to order the estate files for the Lockards that had sons of the right age in the 1800 and 1810 Census. I recently received the Administration Papers of James Lockart, who died in 1844 in Lower Mount Bethel without a will. Ephraim appears as one of the signers. John Flick was the administrator of the estate, but Ephraim also singed the document and is named on the first page along with John Flick. I was wondering if people think this is a pretty good sign that James was the father of Ephraim.
