John, son of Daniel, (born 1765, died Nov 10, 1834), a farmer of Lynn township, married Anna Maria Mosser, d/o Burkhardt Mosser (1770-1861). Samuel Oswald, of Best, PA., was born Aug. 24, 1841. His parents were John (the only child of John and Elizabeth (Steigerwalt) and Elizabeth (Newhart). In 1846 he married Elizabeth, d/o John and Catharine (Hensinger) Shirey. Charles P., born in Northampton, Oct 5, 1869, married in 1891 to Cora, d/o Franklin and Lucy (Landis) Klotz. Children, Ada, died in infancy and John Solomon Oswald, son of Daniel, was born in Lynn township, Aug 12, 1817 and died Aug 24, 1909, buried at Jacksonville. Members of the Jacobs Church. He married Elizabeth "Smith", a d/o Joshua "Schmitt:, She died Oct 21, 1909, aged 79, and had 10 children; William, Sarah, who married Amandus Shellhammer, Caroline who married John Wutcher, Eleanora, married Charles Hartman, Amanda, married Elmer Hermany, Leietta, single, Charles O., John. Charles O., born May 27, 1875,married March 11, 1910, to Annie V. Donat, d/o James A., and Vitctoria (Leitz) Donat. Benjamin Oswald, son of John, was born near Weisenberg township, Nov 11, 1796. He married Dorothea Lutz, who was born Feb 6, 1796, died March 18, 1874. Both buried at New Tripoli. Children; John, Benjamin, David, Parseda, Rebecca, Catharine and Polly Benjamin, son of Benjamin, was born Dec 5, 1828. Member of the Ebenezer Church. He married Elizabeth Sheetz, d/o David and Elizabeth (Brobst) Sheetz of Lynn township, she was born Aug 24, 1835, died July 20, 1894. Children; David T., Levi B., who married Rosa Reitz and they had the following children; (Daisy, Minnie, Hattie, and Ralph); James A., Alvena E., who married Clinton Bloom of Wind Gap; Mary L, who married Albert Meese, of Weissenberg township. David T., born Dec 21, 1858, married April 30, 1892 to Alice Smith, d/o Daniel and Lovina (Fenstermacher) Smith, and granddaughter of Reuben and Lydia (Lutz) Smith. Children; Esther E., Floyd T., Frederick C., Meda M., and Martha. James A. Oswald, of Lynn, was born Jan 17, 1863. He married Sept 27, 1892 to Tilda A.
