bucks co. eckert david eckert, 12 april 1827, s/o john lydia eckert, sp. john and catharine beudelman eckert, anna maria, 17 sept 1754, d/o george and susanna sp. christian and anna maria groos eckert, anna catharina 9 june 1788, d/o balthaser and wf. sp. frederick laubach and wf unganst, jacob 13 march 1789 peter and elizabeth,, sp john and mgt riegel riess, jacob, 31 july 1817, s/o michael and elisabeth. sp. isaac and maria eckert eckert, benjamin, s/o isaac and maria, 26 jan 1820, sp henry and barbara braun fatzinger, jacob, jr., was born in weaversvile, northampton co, aug 9, 1841, s/o jacob and drusilla (weaver) fatzinger, his maternal grandfather was michael weaver. jacob, subject, married oct 24, 1879 to ellen j. eckett, a native of siegfried, northampton co. she was born oct 24, 1857, d/o edward and diana (arner( eckert, who were likewise natives of this section. the great-grandfather of mrs. fatzinger on the maternal side, whose name was thomas gilmore, left ireland for america prior to the rev. he srv in the rev. after the war he married, his wf being a native of pa. the mother of mrs, fatzinger died narch 12, 1893 mr. and mrs. fatzinger had a son, thomas e. born feb. 28, 1883 eckert, abram, of bangor, was a native of northampton co., was born in upper mt. bethell, ug. 8, 1845. his grandfather abram eckrt, is buried in the centerville cem. george eckrt, subject's father is also buried in the centreville cem. george married sarah (muffley) and they had; katareine, widow of john slack, abram, subject, belinda married obadiah oyer, emma, w/o thomas e. lockhard, john m. hiram, died in civil war, isaac franklin, joshia. abrahm married july 2, 1876 to cecilla, d/o michael gruver, of washington twp. children; lillie r., w/o john young of bangor, and laura m. bucks co. aug 4, 1800, lorence kremer, rockhill twp. died after april 19, 1794, left a widow catharine and 7 children, michael, abraham, catharine w/o jacob hoover, who is absent and not heard from for more than 13 years, susanna w/o christiian eckhart, elizabeth, w/o john nease, mary, w/o philip seigler. peter eckert, springfield twp. widow christian and son peter, under 14, peter stever, guardian, feb 11, 1833, mary hunsberger, rockhill, childr, adam, mary, susanna, isaac (deceased) isaac of hilltown left widow elizabeth, now eckert and 3 children, jesse, samul and hannah all under 14 feb 11, 1839 mary eckert. grandchildren, mary and elizabeth tice, under 14, petition by jacob dill, no mother or father living. abraham kramer, guardian. april 23, 1850 granchildren, mary and elizabeh tive, children of jacob, their gaurdian abraham kramer died last winter, william keller new guardian. allentown list of taxables, includes, john eckert, henry eckert, george eckert, solomon fatzinger, conrad worman, jacob worman, henry worman, abraham worman eckert. andrew moved to pottstown. john eckert, died nov, 1840, he married elizabeth worman, he had a large family of whom, john, james, henry owen, even, catharine. charles eckert of allentown. two daughtes also reside in allentown, elisabeth (schwarz) and rebecca ( madren) towamensing twp. william eckert, a native of germany, came to northampton co. between 1781 and 17886 he moved to lower towamensing he had 2 sons, adam and william. adam was born 1784, he moved to poho poho creek, he died 1868 aged 94. he had 3 sons, john, adam and daniell. adam s/o adamm died 1883, aged 84, leaving 12 children, of whom were, joseph, abraham, samuel and david. daniell, s/o adam, died 1879 and left 10 children, of whom are daniel, joseph, reuben and thomas william eckert, s/o william and brother of adam left 5 sons, john, william,, adam, solomon and daniel. assessment 1843-44 includes simon eckhart, a carpenter, adam eckhart, jr., a farmer, daniell eckhart, john eckhart. You are right, I dug out the pension file and it is 8 children--3 boys and 5 girls Had my eyes in wrong yesterday: But the children are listed in pension file are: Boys were John (deceased in 1843), Abraham Girls were Elizabeth, Susanna, Margaret, Catherine In addition 8 Aug 1792 they baptized Isaac and Samuel 25 Dec 1812-1816 and Maria 28 Sep 1816-1818 (1st Settlers of the Forks of the Delaware) That is more than enough kids to fullfill what was said in the pension file Also, thank you Geri for your lookup.
