Johnsonville is located between Bangor and Portland in Upper Mt. Bethel Township, Northampton Co. There were a couple of churches at this crossroads village in the late 1800's. There are larger cemeteries in Portland and at Stone Church as well as in the Bangor/East Bangor area. I would suggest contacting the Easton Public Library. They probably have readings from many of these yards. The Bangor Public Library has local newspaper files from this era.
