I'm decended from Jacob Christman who was the son of the Jacob Christman who died in 1811. My Jacob Christman died in 1825 and left 1 daughter Elizabeth. Elizabeth was born 1810 in Bucks Co. died 1879 in Milton Northumberland Co. My big headache is her husband David born 1805. According to Northumberland Co. History, he was born in Northampton. He, also, died in Milton in 1883. Who were Davids Parents? I've seen a family genealogy that says he was the son of John. John Eckert had 6 kids according to his pension file. (Stated at 2 different times) His pension file names all those children. There is no room for a David. I'm wondering if David might have been the grandchild of Balthasar Eckert 1761-1856. Balthasar married Eva Miller 1764-1849. Eva's grandmother was an Unangst Was wondering if there is anyone out there to help with David Eckert and Marsha, could you take a look at those Bethel Twp records to see if you see any Eckerts buried there that might be the right age to have fathered a child born in 1805 thanks janet On Oct 8, 2006, at 1:00 AM, [email protected] wrote: >> Hello, >> >> I have many of the cemetery transcription from the Upper Mt. >> Bethel area >> and >> would be happy to do a look up.
