If he was born in Shimertown there might be some records locally, like in Northampton County,Pa that shed some light on who his spouse is. Eva, If you are going to looking to the Shimer's would love to find info on Isaac believe he was a Lieut. in the Rev. a relative of Ludwig Cupp. A cousin I think but I don't know whether that was a maternal or faternal, anyway need to find the connection so maybe I can find parents of Ludwig, his father died abt 2 months before he died. Thought there might be some court records as to gaurdian or something.
