The Pennsylvania Archives has its index cards for the Revolutionary War online at: http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/ Each mention of a participant in records in the Pennsylvania archives has an index card. Most are probably from the militia records published in the Pennsylvania Archives series. Keep in mind that presence on a militia return doesn't mean the person participated in the War. Every male, ages 18 - 53, was listed on yearly muster lists. The index cards are clearly marked as "Denotes active participation" or "Doesn't denote active participation".
