I did some more hunting today, & found Jennie in the 1930 census in the city of Bethlehem, but in Lehigh Co., PA (pg. 9B). Milton Peters head 48 1st married at age 34 b. PA Jennie " wife 56 " 19 (to GH) b.PA Emily Hoffman daughter 32 b.PA (1898) Verena Hoffman daughter 23 b. PA (1907) If Milton m. at age 34, that would have been ~1916. So maybe George Hoffman had died by 1914, and the use of Jennie, rather than Mrs. George, was the regional custom. J.R. Maxwell Delaware Co., OH
