John Sterner, son of Nicholas, was born Nov 12, 1760, in Hanover township. He died March 17, 1843, in his 84th year. He marred Barbara Waltman. She was born Nov 26, 1760, died March 23, 1839 in her 79th year. They are buried at Shoenersvill. Among their children was a son Nicholas. Nicholas, son of John, was born Jan 1 1797. He retired to 1026 Hamilton street, Allentown, where lived untill his death on Dec 23, 1882, aged 86 years less 8 days. His wife was Catharine Sandel, d/o George and Catharine (Bieber) Sandel. She was born in1803 and died in 1887. Children; Jacob, died a child, Charles, David, of Hanover, Levi, James, Elizabeth (1827-1851) Maria, maried Thomas Diehm, Sarah, 1836-1854,Emma married William Clader, Diana married H. Kichline, Clarissa born 1845 married Thomas H. Audenried. Charles, son Nicholas, was born Oct 16, 1825, and died Aug 20, 1904, aged 78y 10m 4d. His wife Sarah Trapp, was born Dec 10 1826 and died Feb 14, 1897. They are both buried at Shoenersville. Children; Amanda, married James Moritz, Maria, married Jame Laub, Oliver H., Alfred J., and Lillie, who died at 17. Alfred J., of Catasuqua, was born Nov 28, 1862. He married 1st in 1887 to Annie M. Stillwagner. She was born Nov 10, 1863 and died Oct 31, 1908. They had 2 children; Hattie M., and Clinton C., who married Ida Heydt, and they resided at Fullerton. He maried 2nd to Annie Schieler Jan, 1911, d/o Peter and Julia Schieler. Sterner, Daniel, father of Harry H., died at Allentown, July 3, 1909 aged 88. He married Priscilla Horner ( a Mennonite). Children; Charles and William, both of Phila, Harry H., Cecelia, married Rev. Oscar Hilegas of Quakertown, Sallie married Samuel Baker of Allentown, and Mamie, died in 1912 aged 33. Harry H. was born in Quakertown, June 31 1871. He married on Christmas Day 1891 in Allentown to Katie R. Dearolf, d/o Jacob and Susan (Long) Dearolf, of Reading, Berks Co. Her paternal grandparent were Isaac and Catharine Dearolf. Members of the Grace United Evangelical Church. Children; Mildred, Esther, Earl, Dorothy and Phylis Best Wishes, Geri
