Mathias Hintereleiter bought of Nicholas Muffy, in 1767, a tract of land in Maxatawny township, Berks County, which descended to his son, Jacob. Wotring, N. Whitehall, d/o John and Catharine Wotring, and they had children; Lillie A. C. married July 4, 1891, to Thomas K. McNabb, and they had a son (Earl J.). Mary E., married Dr. .A. Gearhart, of Allentown, Emma C.M. married Louise Bogert, and Clarissa J., married Charles Geisinger of Centre Valley. Peter Kern. only son of David and Abigail (Lentz) Kern,was born Jan 28, 1845, members of the Evangelical Church. He married in 1866, to Madina Neff. d/o Elias and Lydia Ann (Mosser) Neff. Children; Oscar D., married Minnie Bousarred, issue (Homer and Claude). Ellen, married 1st Oliver A. Krum, issue (Warren, Irene, Minnie and Oliver Krum). Ellen L., married 2nd to Alvine Sechler, issue ( Lawrence) Kern, Moses, born at Wescosville, Nov 29, 1829, he married Mary Mohr, d/o Capt. John Mohr, and his wife Adeline Baker. Mrs. Kern died Oct 21, 1912. Children; Caroline, married Wilson J. Woodring, Uraiah, Sylvanus J., Rosa, Owen, Ellen, wife of Henry Heckman, Laura, Flora, married Morris Miller, Amanda, wife of Wilson Walbert. Wilbur Lewis King, s/o Isaac L. and Maria (Knauss) King, was born in Bethlehem, Aug 14, 1872. He is a descendant of Jacob Konig, who came to America on the ship "Janet". Jacob settled in Drylands, Bethlehem township, he married Catharine Illick. On Sept 9, 1897, Wilbur married Irene M. Keiper, d/o Charles and Mary (Zellner) Keiper of Allentown. She was a descendant of John Moll, the gunsmith of Allentown. Her paternal grandfather, William Keiper, soldier in the War of 1812. Mr. and Mrs. King took up their residence in W. Bethlehem, and they had children, Florence E. and Charles W. Members of Wesley Methodist Church/ Kleckner, Daniel, s/o Solomon and Catharine (Kurtz) Kleckner, was born May 23, 1823 in Lehigh County. He died at Cementon in 1902,. He is buried at cemetery at Egypt. On Jan 23, 1848 he married Carolina Yantz, d/o Reuben and Margaret (Brown) Yantz. She was born Dec 11, 1829, died Dec 17, 1895. Kressly, son of Adam, was born in Heidelberg township, May 1, 1804, his wife, Elizabeth Follweiler, who died aged 46. Buried at Jacksonsville. Shaffer of Lynn township Herber, Milton A., was born Nov 7, 1887 in Weisenberg township. In June, 1906 he married Maggie L. Fichter, d/o David. Children, Lawrence A., and Helen M. Amos, his father was born March 8, 1848, in Albany township, Berks Co. He had lived in Weisenberg since 1886. In 1869 he married Sarah A. Fritz, d/o Charles of Weisenberg. Children; Charles married Sophia Heintzleman, Ida, married Frank Sicher, Emma, married George B. Grim, George married Mary Yundt, and Milton. The grandfather of Mr. Herber was Peter Herber, of Weisenberg, was married to Hannah Schellhamer, d/o George, and they had children, George married Hannah Boyer, , Edwin married Caroline Haas, Peter married Amanda Ross, Silas married Matilda Kline, William of Lebanon County, Samuel, married Eliza Edelman, Katie married Frederick Wilt,Mary single, Hannah, married William Andreas, and Sarah, married Nathan Hinkel, and 4 who died young.
