    3. Rev. War Buskirk Lewis, wife Sarah, PA Line, soldier applied in 1834 Adams Co. IL aged 74. Soldier lived in Washington Co., PA near the PA and VA line near the Ohio River. Soldier was born in NJ in 1760 and after the war soldier lived most of the time in Bourbon and Grant Counties, KY, then to Adam Co., IL, widow applied in IL 1852. Married in Feb 1811 in Pendleton Co. KY Van Buskirk, Peter, Cont. DE., MD., NJ., NY., and PA Lines, also served War of 1812. Soldier enlisted in NY., NY. Soldier was born 29 Aug 1762 at Harrington, Bergen, NJ and he lived there until 1812 then moved to NY City. and in 1815 he moved to New Prospect, NJ and in the fall of 1816 he moved to Ontario, NY and he applied there 20 May 1846. Family records which in the possession of Wm. Osburn who married Catharine Van Buskirk, d/o Thomas and granddaughter of Abraham Van Buskirk the brother of Rev. Soldier Peter Van Buskirk. Towit; Abraham born 10 Oct 1758 and he married Jane Burdette 29 Nov 1778 and their children shown were; Thomas A. born 11 Sept 1780 and Lucretia, born 3 Jan 1785 and the said Abraham died 20 Feb 1806, other family data, George Achenback born 23 Jan 1739 and he married Antge (?) 24 March 1763 and she was born 27 Feb 1749 and their children were Elizabeth born 3 June 1764, Eva born 26 Dec 1765, Rynhart born 27 Oct 1767, Jannitije born 25 July 1769, Catariena, born 14 May 1771 and died 15 Feb 1793, Lourens born 12 March 1773, Margritije born Feb 7, 1775, died 3 May 1793, Johannis born 12 June 1777 and died 28 Feb 1793, Marya born 24 March 1779 and died Feb 2, 1793, Thomas born 9 Apil 1781, Antye born 20 Feb 1783 and Rachel born 8 May 1785, also shown were; my dear wife Antge died 11 Feb 1801 aged 53y 11m 16d, Anna Cole, died 21 July 1856,Jane Achenbach died 11 April 1860. Subject's father, John Buskirk was born in Hamilton township, he married Catharine Smith, a natve of Jackson township, and d/o Abraham and Susan (Possinger) Smith. He died Oct 1890, age 65 and the wife Feb, 1891, age 73. Children; Aaron, Elizabeth, married Jacob Stump, Lydia,wife of Charles Heater, and Thomas Joseph, subject, was born Oct 19, 1854 in Jackson township, he married Maria Gantzhorn who died leaving 1 child, Maranda who was brn July 23, 1878, she married Clinton H. Kautz of Stroudsburg and they had one son Harold B, born Nov 25, 1899. Mr. Buskirk married 2nd to Susanna "Fellenser", d/o Peter and Mary (Marsh) "Fellenser". He grandfather Peter "Fellenser: of Hamilton township, where he was married and made his home. Peter "Fellenser" Jr. ws born in that township March 22 1808, he married Mary Marsh, a d/o Jacob and Mary (Cress) Marsh. Elliots and Peter E, who married Alta Singer, d/o John. Everitt. James. subject. Chestnut Hill township. Paternal grandfather, John Everitt, married a Miss "Steiner", he died at age 60. Children; John father of James, Jacob, Peter, Joseph, Fanny, Sally married Benjamin Kuanze, Elizabeth, the wife of Charles Siglin. John Everitt, born 1796, he married Catharine Lorsch born in Northampton Co in 1800, d/o John and Salome (Seem) Lorsch, lifetime residents of Northampton Co, who died leaving 2 children; Catharine the mother of sujbect, and Susan, wife of John Aish. The children of John and Catharine Everitt were as follows; Lavina, married Robert Newell, Mary, wife of James Newell, Eliza, wife of Isaac Lewis, Joel, a Civil war vet, died unmarried, Sarah, wife of Josiah Hessler, Lafayette who married Mary J. "Dersheimer", Julia N., wife of Linford Everitt, James, Catharine, wife of Nathan Hawk, of Allentown, Edwin married 1st Martha Stubbs, 2nd to Sophie Rode, Lucinda E., died young,. John Everitt, the father died Jan 1866, aged 69y 11m. His widow died July 12, 1878, aged 78. James Everitt was born Nov 25, 1836 he married 1st to Emaline Huffmacker. Children; Franklin married Addie Weiss, J. Wilson, who married Caroline Solomon, Ulyses, married Ella Felker, Emalinda, wife of Willard Davidson, of Luzerne Co, Augustus and Joseph. Mrs. Emaline Everitt died in 1876, aged 36 and is buied at Salem cemetery. On June 28, 1884, James Everitt, married Mrs. Mary A. (Van Buskirk) Christman, d/o Enoch and Julia Ann (Altmose) Van Buskirk, of Ross township and widow of Dawalt Christman. She is a native of Ross township, where her parents were life-long residents. Her paternal grandfather, Jacob Van Buskirk, native of Holland, migrated to America when a young man. He married Hannah Hogland. The materal grandparents of Mrs. Everitt were Adam and Catharine (Starner) Altmose. The family of Enoch and Julia Ann Van Buskirk consisted of the following; Mary A., wife of our subect, Charles, married Emma Gruver, Jacob married Amanda Ramel, Eliza A., wife of Paul Raseley, Lizzie, who married __ Finkley of MS., Ella, wife of Barney Miller of Easton., Emma, wife of Uria Snyder. Enoch Van Buskirk died April 19, 1873, aged 62. His wife died Sept 11, 1868 age 42. Mary A. Van Buskirk, eldest child , married 1st to Dawald Christman, who was a son of John and Mary (Gower) Christman. Dawalt Christman, who was a blacksmith died in Oct 1881, aged 42y 6m. He is buried at St. Peter's Church. Three sons were born to Dawalt and Mary A. Christian, of whom Enock and Charles are partner in the tinsmith buisness at Allegheny, PA and Jacob W., who married Mary Willaims. Children of James and Mary A. A. Mabel, Raymond and Grace E.
