He died in 1875, his wife Catharine Knauss, d/o William of Amity township. Children; William K. killed in the Civil war, Ephriam, James K., died 1875, Mahlon K., died 1895, Hanna died 1902 married William G. Dietrich, Sarah, maried Horace K.
