Smiley In your posting regarding John B. Smiley you mention my g-g-grandfather Benjamin Franklin Arndt and his wife Mary (Posten) Arndt and describe them as among the first settlers of Bartonsville. I have been trying to find information about BF Arndt. I know he and Mary are buried in Shaffer School House Cemetery with their child Jesse and that BFA was on the original church board for Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, which used to be on route 611 near Wigwam Park Road. I have his birth and death dates, but am trying to find any other information, especially if I can confirm that he is the son of Benjamin Franklin Arndt (Sr.) from Easton. This info is on the data base for the Mormon Church, but is not conclusive. Also Doneva Shepard has the two BFA listed as father and son, but without any census data or other hard info. Hope you can help. Any information, even anecdotal, will be valuable to me. I grew up in the Bartonsville area and am familiar with many of the local surnames. Ronald J. I was wondering if you may have any more information on Ulrich? My family has traced our lineage back to him and we are trying to see if we can find out any more on where he was from and/or how he originally spelled his name.
