Everett, Jacob (about 1758 - about 1807) of Moore Township I just read the article, "Two Everett Families of Northampton County" by Alice Allen Everett, published in the Pennsylvania Genealogical Society Magazine, vol 28, no 23. Does anyone know of further research that has been done on the ancestors of Jacob Everett of Moore Township and his father, Jost Everett? Thank you, Barbara Reisteter

I believe most of this area eventually became Lehigh County. I am looking for records on the WEAVER families of this area and I'm especially interested in finding the marriage of Jacob WEAVER to Christina DORMEYER around 1790-92 and the births of their first 4 children - Mary, Jacob, Jonathan, and Susannah born in the range of 1793-1800. I have two photos of my great grand father, Jacob Rex, and my great- great grandfather, Albert Blose, that I received from a cousin. Both photos are groups of men who worked in Slate Quarries from Lehigh County. I'm guessing the location(s) is/are Slatington or Slatedale because of where the families lived. Albert would be Slatedale and Jacob could be Slatington or Lehigh Gap area. My family marked my grandfather's with "x" on the photo (unfortunately), but at least they're well marked so we know who our grandfathers are. I'd love to identify other men in the photo. There's no date on the scans that I have. Another guesstimate, based on ages of the men would be between late 1890-1915 for Albert Blose's pic and 1900-1925 for Jacob Rex's pic. Albert was born in 1849 and died in 1933. He was a son of Jonas Blose (who died in 1854 at an early age) and Lucy Ann Peter who later remarried to Reuben Rex. Albert's wife was Timanda Moyer daughter of Emanuel Moyer and Salome Rex. Jacob (who was Albert's son-in-law), was born 1875, died in 1932, was a son of Lewis Albert Rex and Sarah Ann Strohl and he was married to Lizzie Catherine Jane Blose — Albert and Timanda's daughter. I only give you this info because often families worked together or you may recognize one of the names as a neighbor in a census and that could lead to a clue. Since I can't email the pictures I've uploaded them to my website: http://www.itsmylifeonline.com/genealogy/showphoto.php?photoID=46 http://www.itsmylifeonline.com/genealogy/showphoto.php?photoID=45 Please let me know if anyone recognizes a relative or sees something in the photo that would be a clue to identifying a date, etc. I'd appreciate any assistance. Thank you, Michelle

Can anyone provide some historical information on the ISSAC STOUT HOUSE in Williams Twp and some background on the Isaac Stout family? He married Mary Shawley and lived in Marion & Walker Twps Centre County PA. Any information will be appreciated. Roy
