    3. I appreciate all the kind remarks greatly. If you don't want to view the posting please hit the delete button. I do plan on forwarding the posting to http://home.ptd.net/~mexorob/ for inclusion on Tracy's page. And I am sure they can be viewed at the county site at rootsweb. My Aunt and I just returned from a 17 day trip to Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We live in California. I repeat, I have pictures of all these stones. If you want me to email it to you, please contact me privately. Standby for more cemetery and other records. Pam

    2. Does anyone have info or have heard of something called the "Marchal House", at 333 Elm St., Bethlehem, Northampton Co., PA? This seems to have been an inn of some kind in 1890. Sometime prior his death in 1880, Michael ANSTATT or ANSTAEDT was the proprietor. If you have information on this building, I'd love to hear from you! Penny

    1. [PANORTHA-L] Re: Marion (Bartlett) Abbott
    2. In a message dated 7/29/03 10:00:53 AM Eastern Daylight Time, Geri Brennan wrote and posted to PANORTHA-L: << Duerr, Harry O., was born in Cleveland, Ohio, May 11, 1866, married in 1889 in Bethlehem, PA to Stella Merit Abbott, was was born in Summit Hill, she was the d/o Merit Erskine and Marion (Bartlett) Abbott. Abbott, the former one of the leading businessmen of S. Bethlehem. >> I am very interested in this Marion Bartlett. I find these sentences a little confusing. Can anyone clarify? I am reading this to be: Merit Erskine Abbott +m Marion Bartlett. They had issue, Stella Merit Abbott whom +m Harry O. Duerr. If so, I believe that Marion was the daughter of Nathan BARTLETT and Sally Ann______(or Sarah). It is possible that Sally Ann's maiden name was OLEPHANT. They were members of the Moravian Church in Bethlehem, although they were b. in NJ. Their other children were: Eayre O., William Olephant, Belle, Helena, Annie O., and Mary. (could be others I haven't found). I am VERY interested to hook up on any researchers looking into this particular Bartlett family and/or their allied lines in the Northampton/Lehigh Co., PA area. Penny allied lines: (Bartlett/Olephant/Benner/Keim/Boehler/Anstett My theory is that Eayre O. Bartlett b. m+ Mary Benner (dau. of Elias Benner). Their dau., Alice Jane Bartlett b. 1863 m+ Jacob Milton KEIM b. 1853 (this is a theory and NOT yet confirmed).
