Hi Listers, The text below is a reprint from a site (one of many) that debunks these hoaxes. Ken in NH =========================================== Comments: This is a particularly diabolical hoax because, like the SULFNBK.EXE hoax of 2001, it persuades gullible users to inflict damage on their own computers. Don't forward these messages! According to antivirus experts (see links below), JDBGMGR.EXE is a standard Windows utility file - it's supposed to be on your computer - and unless you have very good reason to believe you might have downloaded an infected copy of the file (which is possible, but unlikely), leave it alone. If you happen to be one of those unfortunates who followed instructions and deleted the harmless file, don't despair - it's not absolutely critical to the operation of your computer. See the commentary by our resident About.com antivirus guru Mary Landesman for technical details. Last updated: 01/10/03

Geri, Try to unsubscribe first then wait and see if you get an acknowledgement that you have been unsubscribed. If so, then try to subscribe again.and see what happens. Pam, an other listers. As per the following e-mail from Geri today, Geri is getting Pam's and my e-mails but nothing from Northampton Boards. She tried subscribing again but nothing gained. If any one has some ideas as to what might be the problem, please try and contact Geri by her e-mail address below. This is certainly an unusal problem. Thanks to all who answered my test of PANORTHA board in Geri's behalf. I know many, many people look for her reports and at this time she is missed due to some fluk. E-mail Geri direct if you have any ideas. I believe she gets direct mail OK Thanks again.
