    3. Lehigh County-Beck Family A petition dated Jan 9, 1767, of William Beck, of Moore township, whose father, Henry died leaving a widow and six children. Another petition dated Feb 8, 1779, of Frederick Beck, oldest son of William Beck, of Moore township. The following wills are also recorded in the same court house, George Beck, Sr., of Nazarath, made a will date NOv 18, 1791. It mentions his wfie Catharine and chidlren, Andrew, Anna Mary, wife of Thomas Hartman, Henry, Margaret, the wife of John Hill, Anna, Elizabeth and George. John Beck of Upper Mt. Bethel, made his will July 8, 1815. It mentions his wife Mary and that there were 12 children, but does not mention their names. George Ludiwg and son-in-law Jacob Reimel were executors. Peter Beck was the progenitor of one line of this family. His son John Henry was of the father of George H. Beck, born in Lower Nazareth township. Marriage Recorded at Phila. He made a will on the 19th Oct 1741, and he died on the 6th day of the following month. His wife Veronica, survived him until 1752. Their children were Michael, Bernhard who settled in New Hanover township. Anna Elizabeth married 1st to Michael Zimmerman and 2nd to Jacob Korr, Hieronimus, Barbara, who married Jacob Markley of Skippack, and Conrad. Children; Amanda, married James Moritz, Maria, married Jame Laub, Oliver H., Alfred J., and Lillie, who died at 17. Alfred J., of Catasuqua, was born Nov 28, 1862. He married 1st in 1887 to Annie M. Stillwagner. She was born Nov 10, 1863 and died Oct 31, 1908. They had 2 children; Hattie M., and Clinton C., who married Ida Heydt, and they resided at Fullerton. He maried 2nd to Annie Schieler Jan, 1911, d/o Peter and Julia Schieler. Sterner, Daniel, father of Harry H., died at Allentown, July 3, 1909 aged 88. He married Priscilla Horner ( a Mennonite). Children; Charles and William, both of Phila, Harry H., Cecelia, married Rev. Oscar Hilegas of Quakertown, Sallie married Samuel Baker of Allentown, and Mamie, died in 1912 aged 33. Harry H. was born in Quakertown, June 31 1871. He married on Christmas Day 1891 in Allentown to Katie R. Dearolf, d/o Jacob and Susan (Long) Dearolf, of Reading, Berks Co.
