I am researching two little members of my family. Pauline and George Ambrose died during the flu epidemic in Bethelehem pa. Although I have contacted the church where they are buried, they say they have no record. The family says they are buried there. I am trying to get a death date for the two of them. They are buried with their parents, who are in the Holy Ghost Cemetery. I now live in Idaho, so it is impossible for me to check things out there. Does anyone have any ideas on finding this info. It is too expensive to have the vital records look it up. Thank you for any help. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now

Yes, it's on the Archives page on the Rootsweb Northampton County site: here's the url http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/northampton/wills.htm It's "Archives - Wills" and you'll see links to specific wills (Caspar Ritter, Ludwig Baumiller) as well as below those, an index to will abstracts in three parts: A-G, H-O, P-Z, posted by Marilyn (not me). The previous poster incorrectly believed - as I did when I first encountered the site - that if a name appeared, that meant that there was a will on file at the Northampton County courthouse. That is not correct. If a name appears on this list, that means the name appears somewhere within the online listing. These are will abstracts and the other names index appear somewhere within the abstracts, as heirs, witnesses, etc. Marilyn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roslyn McLendon" <nonny984@insightbb.com> To: "Marilyn Souders" <msouders@nyc.rr.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2003 11:22 PM Subject: Re: [PANORTHA-L] Finding a will in Northampton Co. > is there a site for wills?
