    1. Re: [PANORTHA-L] MIERS of NJ
    2. Marilyn Souders
    3. I'm interested in the MIERS family of Warren County too. How far back do you go? Actually, I'm looking for what happened to a couple whose last record was 1810 and the name was then spelled a bunch of different ways: MOYER, MAYER, MEIER, MEYERS, MEIER, etc. I believe, IF they stayed in NJ, the name may have morphed into MIERS, MYERS. It was PETER MOYER/MEYER/MYERS b. abt 1760 who married MARIA CATHERINA METZ b. abt 1761. They had 3 children baptized in Warren Co: Dorothea, 1780, Elizabeth, 1788; Wilhelm, 1792. A fourth child, may have been Valentine, baptized in Easton in 1800. The last mention I find for them is in her father's will, prob. 1810.
