I am hoping someone can help me identify who are Anna Barbara's (born 12/15 /1745) parents. Anna Barbara married Abraham Loesch in Northampton County abt.1770 The family was very good about passing down her birth date they just forgot to give her maiden name. She live 102 years, dying in 1847 in Williams Township and is buried in St. Luck's cemetery with her son John Lesh. She lived in the Williams township area from 1789 until her death. This leads me to believe that her family was there since her husband dies(?) in 1787. I would appreciate if anyone can claim our Anna Barbara as theirs. Thank you, Sandy Lesh WV

Mr. ? Price of Philadelphia had multiple children, including Eleanor (aka Nelly)Price b. 10/2/1771 d.2/23/1841 & m. 6/8/1800 at Baptistown, William Worstell b. 6/1/1771 Bucks Co. d. 9/21/1842 Washington, Hanover Co. They had at least one daughter, Jane. And including Rachel Price b. 1777? d. 4/1865 Jefferson Co., OH & m.1/6/1799 Baptistown, Matthew Worstell b. 1776? Bucks Co. d. 8/26/1839 Jefferson Co.,OH. They had 8 known children; I am a descendant of Hiram (1804-1883) m. Ann Pittis (1808-1872). The Price family were Baptists and the Worstells were Quakers. The Worstell brothers were put out of the Quaker fellowship for marrying outside the flock without official dispensation. When Matthew and Rachel moved to Steubenville they became founding members of a Methodist Society (later a Church). Sources: Letters and journal of Charles Murfit ca. 1876 from a trip of 1842, found at the Bucks Co. Hx Society by CE Boetsch, and shared with the Worstell family. The Pittis Genealogy, ca. 1945 by M.B. Pittis (see index for refs. to Worstell and Ann Pittis). Also, Hx of Belmont & Jefferson Cos., Ohio, in Chap. XXIII, & Hanna's Hx Collections of Harrison Co., in the State of Ohio. There is also a connection between the Worstells and the Gills of Buckingham twnshp, Bucks Co., PA. Please contact me if you would like additional information on these lines. We (the Worstell descendants) are still trying to prove the line in back of Joseph Worstell (~1750 PA - bfr 1790) m. Elizabeth Gill (~1750- 1835). Family oral hx, written down ca.1920, says that Joseph's ancestors (how many generations behind?) came to PA with William Penn in 1682; no documentation to date. Another recollection has them as the line of James Worstell who "emigrated before 1700, removed to Philadelphia before 1804". J.R. Maxwell Delaware Co., OH (bitterly cold, but clear weather)
