I have found in the 1880 Harrison Co., W.Vir. census a Abraham Nuzum b. Dec 1838. Listed with him is wife Nancy E. born Jan 1836. Is this Nancy E. McCoats, the dau. of Sam McCoats and Hannah Springer? Can anyone confirm she is Nancy E. McCoats? Children listed in the census were Helen F. b. Apr 1873 and a son A. H. Nuzum born Sep 1884.
