Here are your Williams boats: JEFFERSON SW p wh built wheeling, Va., 1849, 146 tons. ran on the Upper Tennessee owned by James and William Williams. Sold to John L. Doss Co., July 1855, Capt. Jacob Work. Dismantled 1856 FANNIE MALONE Stw p wh built elizabeth, Pa., 1852. 87 tons. Ran on the Upper Tennessee River, owned by James and William Williams. Off the lists in 1854. Machiner went on ACACIA COTTAGE built in California, Pa. 1857 CHATANOOGA Stw p wh built Kingston, Tenn., 1857. 182 tons . Operated on the upper tennessee owned by James and William Williams, a team which also ran the MOLLIE GARTH, FANNY MALONE, JEFFERSON AND JIM WILLIAMS. Off the lists 1860.
