Hi PAMONVAL Rooters, I'm researching the descendants of William Fowkes and Mercella Wood that may have migrated up the valley from Pittsburgh. Their sons included David Wood, Lafayette, Walker, Winfield and John Henry. Daughters were Mary Ann Plowman, Elizabeth Belmar, Caroline Burkey, and Emma Jane Reese. The children were born from 1840-1864. Also researching the Ralph George Blakey and Jane Hunter that arrived from England in the early 1880s and settled in California, PA.
