    3. Since I have been hitting that brick wall, I thought maybe I might have better luck with this list since it covers the Mon Valley. Does anyone on the list have an ancestor by the name of Hannah Mayhorn? We seem to have a disagreement among the descendants in the Worrell family. Two siblings of my g,g, grandfather Nathaniel Worrell by the names of Hiram and William H. settled in what is now known as Streator, IL. The descendants of William H. say that the parents of the men were John Worrell b. 1811 PA and Hannah Mayhorn b. May 19, 1813. The PA descendants say that Hannah was a Worrell b. May 19, 1813. I am not getting anywhere with obtaining a Death Certificate for Nathaniel who died in 1907. New Castle comes back with no record. I need help verifying one way or the other the surname of Hannah b. 1813 who married John Worrell b. 1811. John was the son of Jonathan Worrell and Jane Dicks. Beers book on Washington Co. details this family under the heading of Long. There was an Elias Worrell family at that time who had a son John; but, are not related to us.
