Mike, The "tidbits" that Eva Dayle Zippay has been sending are VERY interesting, and DO have a lot to do with what this website is supposedly about. If the person reading a certain "post" doesn't like it, they can very easily skip it. I don't read every single post, just the ones that look like they might be intresting to me. I sent Ms. Casey my response. I'm sure she won't like it, but my family is "rich" in Mon-Valley history. Robert L. Barnhart, designer, architect, inventor, contractor built the first electric power plant in Charleroi. He owned the Electric Theater, which became the Palace Theater, and was a Charleroi "place to go" from its inception in the 19-teens, (or before!) to the late 60's when it closed. And many people in Charleroi learned geometry from my Grandfather, Wm. Geo. Mollenauer, at the High School. Now, RLB was my Great Grandfather on my mother's side, and WGM is obviously on my dad's side. And there are still plenty of Mollenauer's in Charleroi. You think they don't want seeing things that are "related" to us, and might lead us to even MORE ancestors? I think Eva Dayle Zippay is doing us a favor printing the items she has sent in, and it's a love from her heart. If this is going to be strictly "names" on this list, I won't even need to belong. PAWASHIN is the same way. Robert D. Mollenauer, Jr. (I was born in Charleroi-Monesson Hospital -- was I the only one?) Ridgecrest, CA, the Gateway to Death Valley Lost in the 50's.
