Is the Second Ward school and Central School (c.1880's) in Monongahela the same building reference? This would be the school with the semi-gothic architecture and the clock on the steeple. It was located across from the Monongahela post office at 4th and Chess St. Was there another school that burned down in the early 1880's across the street and replaced by this building?
