In my research on the MOLLENAUER name, I am reminded that once upon a time, there was a "MOLLENAUER, PA", on Rt. 88 in Allegheny Co. The town has been incorporated into Bethel Park, but "MOLLENAUER Street" is still there. I used to subscribe to the Allegheny Co. rootsweb list, but there's "nothing good" on it. Besides, all of my ancestors (and 95% of my present PA relatives) live in Washington Co. If anyone could find a newspaper from approx. (I'm guessin' here) early 1920's, possibly older, that had a front page story about "Old Man Mollenauer dies", and showed a group of people walking with the wagon to the cemetery, I sure would like to obtain a copy of that article. I remember seeing it back before 1975, when my Grandfather showed it to me. My grandfather was William George MOLLENAUER, a long-time Charleroi High geometry instructor. Thanks, Robert Dickson MOLLENAUER, Jr. Ridgecrest CA, in the desert. Near Death Valley.
