My branch of WEEKLEYs originated in Frederick Co. MD, moved to Washington Co PA which later became Greene Co. then moved to Tyler Co. (W)VA. Only one grandson ended up in the Mon area. He was Thomas Weekley s/o Thomas & Mary was born 1807 in Tyler Co. and moved to Monongalia Co by 1850. He was a shoemaker. In 1831 he married Verlinda WALLS , s/o James & Delilah Walls. They had five children: Rebecca m. Benjamin DAVIS, Levi m. Melissa BRAND, James K. m. Valinda WELLS, Delila m. James G. DOWNEY and George W. married Virginia J. COX.
