I have just become a member of this site and it looks great. I am looking for information on my great (3) grand father , JAMES BERDINE(BURDIN) b. Ireland 1726/27, first mentioned in 10 Mile book as taxpayer in 1772 in Springhill Twp., Bedford county PA, pp 126 (later Greene co.) Married Hester Houch. Died 1780. Would like location of his property, grave site, if known, where I could find a deed for the property, or suggestions where I could find the above. I did find that he was listed in Westmoreland co for taxes in 1773. My father, FRED, gr fa JAMES MILTON BERDINE, GG-gf.JAMES, GGgr fa LEVI, were all born in Greene co. around New Freeport. My name is James Milton Berdine (Jim), I live in Moravian Falls, N. C. am a retired Director of Social Services. Went to school in Blacksville, WV. AAF for 3 years, Fairmont State College and later, much later WVU. Any help on above is appreciated
