Obit from Morgantown WV paper: JAMES L. KREPPS DIES AT HOME ON FLATS NEAR HERE James L. KREPPS died yesterday at his home on the Flats after an illness of several weeks duration. Mr. KREPPS had been in poor health for more than a year, and his recent sickness, which resulted in his death, began about seven weeks ago and he gradually became worse. Mr. KREPPS was born in Belle Vernon, Pa., February 26, 1836 and was the son of Joseph A. and Charlotte KREPPS. His early life was spent around his natal town. In 1866, when he was 30 years old, he married Miss Lucinda DONALDSON, of Allenport, PA who died in 1877. To this union were born three children, James Jr., Mary, and Jacob, all of whom have preceded him to the grave. In 1885, he moved to Morgantown and bought the farm on the Flats where he lived until his death. In 1886 he married Miss Nancy NIXON of California, Pa. He is survived by his wife and two sons Joseph A., and John H., all of this city. He was a member of the Christian Church of Morgantown. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the home on the Flats. Interment will be made in Highland cemetery, California, Pa., Saturday morning.
