(1) BAZIL DERRY (1786-1879) and wife, MARY POLLY SCHULTZ (Schulze) from Haydentown, Georges Township, Fayette County, PA. Son, JACOB DERRY, born in 1816 in Haydentown and married NANCY HARTMAN. Grandson, MELCHI DERRY (1844-1912) born in Haydentown and married MARTHA JANE SWANEY. Melchi and Martha had 4 children who settled in the Brownsville, Uniontown and East Millsboro areas: NATHANIEL (Nathan) SWANEY DERRY, ADOLPH BRADFORD DERRY, CHARLES WALKER DERRY, and PEARLE OTIS DERRY. (2) Pearle (1887-1918)married HARRY OLIVER WALTERS from Uniontown. Harry's father was DELACEY (Delancey) WALTERS (need more info on him) (3) THOMAS BLAIR married NANCY (nee PIERSON) PHILLIPS in 1900 in W. Va. Both were divorcees. Nancy 1st husband was WESLEY PHILLIPS who was reportedly living in Brownsville in 1900. Thomas 1st wife was SELINA FURMAN of Greene County, Pa. She was known as the "fortune-teller of the Revolution", the "witch of the Monongahela" and has had several short stories written about her. She is also named in the "WHITE ROCKS" book by A. F. Hill when she foretold the death of Polly Williams.
