If you are interested in maps of the area this site has Satelite images of all of the US including the Mon Valley courtesy of the US Geological Survey. I even found my house. You can even check out your ancestors home....if it's still standing. I found it fascinating, and addicting. A helpful hint though, I used mapquest also with areas that I am not familiar with. And I compared the two.
