My husband's family, I have been told, came from this area. His gggrandfather Hamilton Bridges I have found in an 1850 census spelled Bridget but 4 years later he witnessed a will and it was spelled Bridges. He was in the service 1861 it was Bridges. He was married to Sarah Morrow. I can't get past 1850. My husband's ggrandfather Michael Kraska was in a 1900 census in this same area and I can't find anything after that.
