Westmoreland and Fayette Counties meet near Washington Twp.(present boundaries) I am descended from the Farquhar family. Mary Farquhar married Levi Stephens II. They lived in Washington Twp., Fayette Co. near Fayette City (known as Cookstown and Freeport in early days).
