Greetings and salutations, all.... As some of you know, some of the photos that I've scanned in are now on Mike McDonald's Mon Valley site; while he's working on setting up the next batches I sent, I thought I'd offer them up to the lists as well for those interested. Batches 4 and 5 : Mystery photos (Feeling adventurous? See if you recognize anyone!) I haven't the faintest idea who any of these people are...if anyone can positively identify them, let me know. ~PS: Photo two (batch 4) was a dageurrotype photo that was rescued from the trash bin when the family was digging out pictures. I scanned it in and lightened it up as best I could. Judging from the garb the kids are wearing, I'd put this in about the 1870s. Batch 6: Photo 1 - JK Davison; Elizabeth PA. Looks to be a boat on the river. Photo 2 - Jim Stearns; 1947 Photo 3 - George Brown Photo 4 - Joe Pettnati; 1920s Photos 5&6 - Allegheny Co. Fairgrounds; 1960 Photo 7 - South Park Fairgrounds; 1959 Once again, I can send these piecemeal, by the batch, or you can wait till they make it online.
