Hi guys, I've finally resumed typing the editions of the Charleroi Mail that I have for the Mon Valley website and thought some on these lists may enjoy some of the articles. Here's the first. From: Charleroi Mail, Monday, March 14, 1960 Page 3, Column 1 LOCALS Mrs. Katherine PANCHAK has returned to her home in Bentleyville, after being a patient in the Brownsville General Hospital. Mrs. Walter KECK and her infant daughter have returned to their home in North Charleroi after being patients in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital for the past week. Mr. And Mrs. A. L. JONES of Akron, Ohio, accompanied by their two daughters, Nancy and Jane, spent the week end visiting in Charleroi and Fallowfield Township with relatives. Miss Nancy REEVES has accepted employment with the Alcoa Company in Pittsburgh. Miss REEVES, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. REEVES of 117 Lincoln avenue, recently graduated from The Robert Morris School in Pittsburgh, where she majored in Secretarial Sciences. *Note--Nancy Reeves (who is only 2 years older than me) later married my husband's uncle, Albert THIRY. Al is only 3 years older than me and 2 years older than my husband.
