Hello, Could some kind person on the list check for an obit for John Jenkins who died January 6, 1962?. He and his wife Edith lived on 5th Street in Charleroi, Pa. I just got his Death Certificate from New Castle which was not clearly copied. The DC was handwritten by a Dr. Priscilla Popp whose handwriting is terrible. It looks like he died at Torrance State Hospital; but, I can't be sure. Does anyone know if I would be able to get his record from Torrance? John died at the age of 87. I am interested in the cause of death because the first word is illegible; but, the next two word are brain syndrome; however, the major cause was Bronchial Pneumonia. I am also interested in learning the maiden name of John's wife, Edith. The DC looks like she might have been Edith West Jenkins. John Jenkins was my late father's favorite uncle. Uncle John and my grandfather, Robert L. Jenkins use to put on Vaudeville shows in the Mon Valley when my dad was young.
